Together with the Supporting Community of the St. Francis Sisters e.V., our Way Community,Konradshof, Turmanyay and other project partners, we had an exhausting but wonderful day at the Basilica.
If you missed the bazaar, you can still buy some products at the Motherhouse Gate (daily between 9:00-11:30 and 14:00-17:30 - while stocks last).

- The Advent Bazaar 2022 took place again on the square in front of the Basilica...
- ...early in the morning the community of helpers met there...
- ... tasks were distributed and the stalls assigned...
- .... first of all it was time to scrape the ice ...
- ... and shovelling snow on the sales areas
- Then the goods were fetched from the temporary storage in the Franciscan monastery
- ... some of them were quite heavy
- What do we actually sell? The respective assortment had to be inspected first ....
- ... and the stalls had to be stocked...

- The range of products was again very wide - Advent wreaths...
- ... Advent flower arrangements
- ... gifts
- .... Biscuits and pastries
- .... Savoury and sweet treats from the monastery garden
- ... Honey and honey products from the region
- .... Secret Santa and other helpful creatures
- ... knitted goods
- .... Emergency tea
- .... Angels
- ... goods from Peru
- .... Sewing and much more.
- In between, of course, the mobile phones had to be checked regularly ....
- ... and fire barrels on the square radiated warmth
- There was a lot of hustle and bustle...
- ... and from time to time there was a real rush
- ... but it was possible to keep a good distance on the large square.
- As always, Advent wreaths were sold out very quickly.
- The helpers had a lot of fun
- ... because the proceeds go to needy children in India and Peru and directly to other aid projects.
- "Owie" was the secret of the bazaar - many thanks to all the buyers and helpers!
