In the chapel of the retreat house "Alvernia" in Cieneguilla, Peru, Sr. Victoria celebrated her silver jubilee of profession in the presence of almost all the Sisters of the Peru Region. In his solemn homily, Br. Roberto OFM Cap drew the connection between the baptism of Jesus, the baptism of Sr. Victoria and profession, which is a continuation of baptism. In this series each one is sent into the Kingdom of God. Sr. Victoria then renewed her profession promise.
As not all who would have liked to come could come due to the current regulations on the Corona pandemic, the solemn Mass was transmitted by livestream - so not only relatives and companions in Peru could participate, but also Sisters from Germany and India. Sr Victoria has already spent some time in both countries.
